Help Us Rebuild after Delisha DeDe Evans Tragic Loss

You never think you're going to need to be the one to start a GoFundMe or have to say “our lives were changed forever” but on Friday September 6th 2024, the lives of those who knew and loved Delisha “DeDe” Evans were just that, tragically changed forever.
On Friday, Sep 6th, authorities were alerted to a fire at the home of Delisha "DeDe" Evans. After what is to be believed 1 or 2 days of Dede’s friends and family not being able to reach her and thanks to the curiosity of her 2 girls, the fire was quickly determined to be arson, creating an active investigation, resulting in a critical missing person alert being issued for DeDe. Based on information provided from friends and family, a suspect was able to be identified, Ryan Phillips, whom she had been in a complicated relationship with since November 2023. State Troopers were able to track her Red Range Rover being driven by Ryan Phillips headed in what they believed towards the direction of St. Louis. Once the vehicle was spotted on the interstate, a pursuit ended with the vehicle overturned and a state trooper firing shots where both Phillips and DeDe were pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of death is still under investigation, but it is believed that DeDe was deceased prior to Phillips taking her car and driving from Texas to St. Louis after burning her home down.
Fortunately and by the grace of God, DeDe’s two girls are safe and with their father in St. Louis, but the fire set by Phillips, destroyed all of DeDe’s belongings as well as the belongings of her two daughters. The family will never be able to answer “why”, there are no physical items to keep as sentimental keepsakes, there will never be answers.
DeDe was an incredible woman. An incredible businesswoman that loved her family and would have done anything for her 2 girls. Not that any individual or family would ever be prepared to handle the immense weight of what has transpired, but also the sudden and immediate expense as well as long term support for her girls as her children have been and will always been her priority.
Please note, there are currently 2 GoFundMe's with regards to DeDe. This one specifically, is being maintained by Dede's father's side of the family.
