Help Us Rebuild Our Beloved Tiny Grocery

We were a modern day grocery for meals, drinks, and gifts. We offered homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods daily. Our guests could grab these items along with their favorite beverage or nostalgic candy from our shop and enjoyed them on our patio, back at work, or as they meandered around Historic Biltmore Village. Guests would also pop in for a hostess gift or a refill on favorite self-care items.

We were about to come up on our one year anniversary, and we were looking forward to opening earlier and offering breakfast; welcoming the fall traffic; enjoying the cool days with warm breezes on our patios; and gearing up to offer cozy Christmas vibes. But Helene changed all that for us, our neighborhood, our town, our community, our region, and our economy.

So many of you have asked how you can help, and unfortunately, everything in our little shop is moldy, muddy, wet, dusty, toxic, and unsafe. We would never ask any of you to endanger yourselves by getting anywhere near our little neighborhood.

We would appreciate, be ever-so-grateful, and overwhelmed to receive help with some re-startup funds for our staff, equipment, inventory, and outstanding bills. Until we can be a physical shop again and our friends and neighbors have the bandwidth, capacity, desire, and money to spend frivolously on little treats, bottles of wine, and party essentials, we’ll try to be as creative as we can and setup online to keep us going and help to rebuild the decimated economy of our ravaged town.
