Help Us Rebuild Our Dream Wedding
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
Rachel and Sam, a teacher and a swim coach, just had their dreams of a magical wedding shattered only 2 weeks before their big day. Their story began with excitement and joy as they planned to tie the knot this August 12th, 2023, at a restaurant in downtown Toronto. However, just two weeks away from their wedding day, they received the heart-wrenching news that their dream wedding venue went bankrupt and vanished, taking all of their hard-earned savings with them. Sadly, the venue happily accepted their last and final payment knowing their doors would be closing and this wedding would never come to fruition. Their hearts sank as the reality of the situation dawned upon them. The countless hours of planning, the emotional investment, and the financial sacrifices suddenly seemed futile.
They've been left in a devastating position, with no venue, no savings, and a wedding that feels like it might never happen. They've poured their hearts into creating a special day for their loved ones to cherish, and now they're faced with overwhelming uncertainty.
Why They Need Your Help:
With their wedding day drawing near, they are left with limited options and a significant financial burden. They are exhausting all possible means to recover their lost savings, but have hit a dead-end. They are now turning to the kindness and generosity of their community for support.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go towards securing a new wedding venue, covering essential wedding expenses, and rebuilding their dream wedding from scratch. Every penny raised will be used responsibly and transparently to ensure that their wedding is a beautiful and heartfelt occasion.
How You Can Help:
They understand that times are tough for many, and any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to them. Here are some ways you can support them:
Donate: Every donation, big or small, will bring them closer to rebuilding their dream wedding. Your generosity will be cherished forever.
Share: Even if you are unable to donate, sharing their campaign with your friends, family, and social media networks can make a significant impact and help them reach a wider audience.
Offer Support: If you have any wedding-related services, such as photography, catering, or event planning, that you'd be willing to provide at a discounted rate or as a gift, please get in touch with them.
Gratitude: They are humbled by the love and support they have received in the last few days after learning about this devastating news. It is with a heavy heart that they reach out for help, but we believe in the power of community and kindness. Your support will not only help them rebuild their dream wedding, but will also restore their faith in love, hope, and the goodness of humanity.
Thank you from the bottom of their hearts for being a part of their story and for helping them turn this setback into a triumph of love.
With love and gratitude,
Sam and Rachel
