Help Us Recover After SoCal Fire Loss

My name is Alejandro Lopez Jr, on January 8th my family and I lost our home to the Eaton fires. When we received the news we were sheltered in the restaurant my uncle works at. The news was the worst news we’ve ever received. We had no time to get anything. I think back of what I would have taken and the only thing I can think of is a picture of my sister and I when we were kids. This is not just a house, this is our home of 23 years. We had build so many memories filled with love. When we went back to see what was left of the house I ran to what was my room hoping to find something, anything, I just wanted a piece of my home but nothing was left. I cannot put into words the sorrow that my family and countless others are going through.

I know many people are creating a GoFund me account but 5000+ houses in Altadena/Pasadena area have been burned to the ground leaving many families in a state of schock, disbelief, uncertainty and most of all devasted because we are homeless now.

I’m creating a GoFund accout for my family in the hopes of helping my parents to get back on our feet. Any donation is helpful no matter the amount. I know many familes are in need and I truly appreciate all the love and support not only from our community but from people all over. Please keep everyone that has been impacted by this wildfires in your thoughts and prayers.
