Help Us Rehome a Salt Cave to Westerly Zen Zone

We’re Zen Zone, a small, family-run wellness studio in Westerly, Rhode Island, created with the mission of bringing peace, healing, and holistic wellness to our local community all year long.

Right now, we’ve been given a truly unique and time-sensitive opportunity: a fully built salt cave in Wakefield, RI is looking for a new home, as its current business is unfortunately closing its doors. Rather than see this beautiful and healing space disappear, we’re hoping to rehome it right here in Westerly—into our Zen Zone studio, where we already have a perfect space waiting.

Salt therapy (also known as halotherapy) is known for its calming effects, respiratory health benefits, and ability to support deep relaxation. This salt cave would be open to the public, giving our entire community access to a truly special wellness modality—right in town.

But we need your help to make it happen.

We are looking to raise $6,000 to cover:

• The disassembly and transport of the salt cave from Wakefield to Westerly

• The rebuilding costs inside our studio

• Materials, labor, and setup expenses

We just opened our business a few months ago and while our hearts are all in, our funds are limited. That’s why we’re turning to our amazing Westerly and Wakefield communities—to ask you to help us bring this dream to life.

This fundraiser is time-sensitive, as the original studio plans to close by the end of May, and we’re hoping to rebuild the cave before summer so the community can begin benefiting from it right away.

We’ll also be offering sponsorship opportunities within the salt cave for those who wish to contribute in a bigger way and be part of its foundation—literally and spiritually.
