Help us Remember and Honor Our Father, Alan Gillespie

On November 5, 2024, our father, Alan Gillespie, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. Alan was a devoted father, husband, coach, and friend who worked tirelessly his whole life, even when times were tough. Despite his struggles, he always gave everything he could to the people he loved and to his community.
Alan had a deep passion for coaching and spent over 20 years guiding youth teams in baseball, soccer, and softball. He was committed not only to helping young people grow in their sports but also to teaching them resilience, teamwork, and kindness. He was also passionate about martial arts, particularly Tai Chi and Qigong, practices that gave him strength and peace throughout his life.
Alan’s love extended to the outdoors, especially the water, and he often found serenity in nature. Above all, he was a giver—always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, whether family, friends, or strangers. He was a compassionate soul who left a profound impact on everyone he met.
Our family is grieving this unexpected loss and navigating the financial responsibilities that come with honoring his memory. We hope to raise funds to give Alan a simple, meaningful farewell that reflects his love for family, nature, and helping others.
Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us. Your kindness will help us honor our father’s memory in the way he deserves. Thank you for helping us carry on his legacy of love, strength, and generosity.
With love and gratitude,
Alana, Shannon, and Angelo
