Help Us Reach New Heights for St Nicholas School
Dear Supporters,
We are excited to announce a thrilling fundraising initiative to support St Nicholas School in Canterbury. Our dedicated Headteacher, Richard Dalton, along with community champions Paul Deadmon of CS Heating & Plumbing Ltd and Toby Diamond of Diamond Carpentry & Building Services, will be participating in a daring wing walk to raise £10,000 for the school's Minibus Renewal Project.
About St Nicholas School
St Nicholas School is a special school catering to pupils with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties. Our mission is to provide a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive. Reliable transportation is crucial for our students to access educational opportunities, community activities, and essential services.
The Need for New Minibuses
Currently, our minibuses are aging and have become unroadworthy, limiting our ability to offer students the full breadth of experiences they deserve. In the past, the Friends of St Nicholas School, our well-established PTFA organisation, has successfully raised funds to purchase a minibus and provide Christmas presents for all pupils. However, the need has arisen again to replace our outdated vehicles to ensure safe and dependable transportation for our students.

The Wing Walk Challenge
To support this cause, Richard, Paul, and Toby have bravely volunteered to take to the skies in a wing walk on Thursday 29th May — a feat that involves standing on the wing of an aircraft in flight. Their courage symbolises the lengths we are willing to go to provide our students with the resources they need.
How You Can Help
We invite you to support this exhilarating endeavor by contributing to our GoFundMe campaign. Your donation will directly fund the purchase of new minibuses, ensuring our students have safe and reliable transportation for years to come.
Donate Today
Join us in making a tangible difference in the lives of our students. Every contribution brings us closer to our £10,000 goal and enhances the educational journey of the remarkable children at St Nicholas School.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
The St Nicholas School Community
