Help us reopen Wunderbar!

To say I've wrestled with creating this fundraising campaign would be an understatement. There have been many sleepless nights where I've struggled with the thought of asking the community that has given us so much over the past 8 years to help us through this trying time. But this isn't about me, or the restaurant/bar, it stopped being about that a long time ago. It's about the community/family we have established and the place that we call home. A welcoming place where strangers are greeted with a smile and a "hey, how you doing?", friendship is just a barstool away, and good tunes/good times fill your soul to the brim.
So here goes (I'll attempt to keep it short and to the point).
The dissolution of a business partnership can be rough. Dissolution of a business partnership during a global pandemic with the business having to close its doors and layoff off it's workforce can be catastrophic. With no PPP granted and bills stacking up we've decided to launch this fundraising campaign. All funds raised will be used to pay down bills, restock food, restock liquor, help employees with any financial hardship they may have, and make repairs to broken equipment.
We will leave no stone left unturned in an effort to reopen the doors in hopes that we can continue to serve the community we love and appreciate. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be cherished and all money raised will be spent cautiously and responsibly. When things should "normalize" and our feet are firmly planted, we plan to throw the biggest damn celebration the corner of Lee and MLK has ever seen!
Thank you for you time and consideration, please stay safe and live in the moment.
Love,
Nate and the WunderFam
