A Heartbreaking Appeal to friends, family and kindhearted strangers!

My name is Shreya , and I am reaching out in this unimaginable moment of pain and desperation. I and my family are heartbroken to share the devastating news that, on January 19th, 2025, at approximately 3:45 PM, my beloved brother, Ravi Teja, was tragically shot and killed by unknown individual(s) in New Haven, Connecticut. The police have since confirmed that he is no longer with us. Words cannot capture the devastation my family feels!

Like other millions of students across the world, Ravi was also full of dreams and aspirations to make a career for himself in USA. He moved to USA in 2022 in pursuing his dream if advancing his educations and making a meaningful impact in this world. At just 26 years old, Ravi had so much ahead - a world of possibilities, and potential that will now remail unfulfilled. he was a passionate student, community volunteer, beloved friend, caring brother, caring son and a family treasure! He had an infectious smile and brought joy & inspiration to everyone around him!

This unimaginable tragedy has left our family and loved ones shattered. In addition to the emotional devastation, we are ow faced with unexpected financial burdens, including his student loan, funeral expenses, counselling support for the family and the heartbreaking task of honoring his memory in a way that he deserves! Our parents, Chandramouli and Suvarna, have sacrificed everything for us including selling our dreamhouse to give me and my brother the opportunity to study in the USA and chase our dreams!. My mom is a houewife and my dad couldn't work for the last couple of years due to unforeseen circumstances, leaving us with no financial stability.

We humbly request your financial assistance during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will tremendously help our family to navigate this deep grief, create a lasting memory of my brother and provide him with the final rites he truly deserves.
