Help us respect our dads burial wishes

Update: My dad did end up passing on Sunday, June 30th at around 1am. I am updating this because I have spoken with the funeral home and sadly there’s just no way possible we’re going to be able to provide my dad with his wishes of being buried. The cheapest burial around we could find would cost roughly $7,000 and there is no way any of us can come up with that. Unfortunately I’m going to have to cremate him so I’m lowering the goal amount to what we need for cremation and hopefully a little to help with a service/celebration in his honor. Anything helps, and I’ll keep family updated on any plans. Thank you. 

To those who know my dad, he’s currently on hospice and declining fast. I’m making this gofundme in hopes to help pay for transportation going back and forth because he’s currently in Lancaster on hospice. And not only help with the travel costs but I’m hoping to try and raise some money to get my dad buried. Realistically cremation is the cheaper option but my dad has told me my whole life he does NOT want to be cremated. My dad didn’t prepare for the future but he did everything he could to provide for us growing up and I just want to be able to respect his wishes and give him a burial and not a cremation. I hate to ask for help but if I want to provide him with the burial he wants I’m going to need some help.. and I know my dad doesn’t have much family left but I know there’s still some people out there that love him.
