Car died. Need survival funds to go forward

03/28: the car will barely shift into first gear now and we don't have any hopes of repairing it because our efforts to find work have fallen flat. We're selling the car for what we can get for it and hoping something comes along for work. We're filling out applications every day, have not gotten one interview.

UPDATE: We have decided the goal of returning to Wisconsin is not achievable. We will be putting the savings we were going to use to drive back towards this fundraiser because we NEED the Suburban, as it will be our housing for the near future.

We have worked since the beginning of covid on the road. It has been a rough road, with a lot of incredible memories, but the plan was and is to find a forever home.

Last winter we worked for the Green Bay Packers. This year we were returning to start anew when our transmission blew, 1600 miles away. We had enough funds to return, but not enough to buy a brand new transmission.

I felt like giving up. But since there is still time I am posting this fundraiser to put a new transmission in our 2010 Chevy Suburban.

We have been quoted $4175. Anything over that will be added to fuel costs to return us to Titletown.

Please help us realize this dream.
