Help Us Reunite Our Dear Brother Allan Icban with His Family
Donation protected
It is with great sorrow and heavy heart that I learned of the passing of my beloved brother, Allan Icban, in France today, September 16, 2024. More than nineteen years ago, he went from the Philippines to France, looking for better opportunities for his wife and six children. He worked hard and made sure that his children had enough to eat, a roof under their heads, and he financed their educations. He was struck with a terrible disease, and, unfortunately, he could not recover.
He has no immediate relatives in France, and now we have to prepare for all that entails to send his remains for proper burial in The Philippines. The costs are extraordinary for Allan's family, who are still in The Philippines; they are very humble in heart and in economic means but unlimited in their love for Allan, who sacrificed everything in order to provide for them. We will always remember Allan for his kindness and happy disposition; he was a loving father and husband, very generous with the little that he had. If anybody was asking for a few euros, he would never refuse to help someone else. He was a great son and brother, loved to smile, we will miss him dearly.
As you can imagine, Allan was unable to see them once he got sick, and unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness (complications from tuberculosis and kidney failure) before he could recover and go back home to be with them.
We are asking all family and friends and other kind souls to contribute to this fund so we can reunite Allan with his beloved family. Thank you from all of us. The Icban family.
