Help Julie McNamara and Family Rise Above the Water!

Our friends who are much more like family; (Julie McNamara and her family (Jimmy, Lindsey, Brayden, Phoenix and their fur babies) recently experienced a devastating loss at their families home due to an overflow backup caused by a city water main break. This unforeseen event resulted in the complete flooding and destruction of their lower living area of their families home leaving them with ruin and heartache unsure of where to go next.

At this time the city and their insurance company are fighting this battle and until agreement is met and investigation of events is completed the necessary immediate repairs that are desperately needed are on hold. These repairs needed are to regain a safe and habitable environment and at this time they do not have that. As you can imagine water damage is not something that can wait for repair. This is something that is necessary to begin immediately.

Water damage can lead to significant structural and property damage if left unaddressed. Remaining moisture from the water that rushed into home sept into walls, floors, and personal belongings, including furnace, washer, dryer, water heater, freezer, ect. All of these items are ruined and everything in the home is now at risk of mold growth, if it has not already begun. Additionally, prolonged exposure to water can compromise the safety of the property and pose health risks to the whole family due to mold and bacteria growth. Therefore, it's crucial to address this damage immediately to prevent further damage and ensure the safety of our dear friend's family home. The damage caused by the water has left their lower level living quarters uninhabitable.

The stress of this financial strain of rebuilding their lives is overwhelming. They have lost valuable possessions, cherished memories, appliances and the sense of security that comes with having a safe and stable home. In the blink of an eye, their world was turned upside down. .

Without immediate assistance, they are unsure how they will be able to move forward and rebuild what was lost and is very likely they will end up needing to hire a property attorney to assist them in fighting their case.

All of the above is why we've decided to organize this fundraiser—to rally together in support of our friends during this difficult and most stressful time.
