Help Us Save Bandy

We’re fundraising for Bandy, a Tennessee Walker Rescue. Bandy has been with us at Whirlawind Ranch for over two years now. Unfortunately, his owner, Katherine “Kat” Beem, a wonderful person who loved her horses more than anything, passed away a few months back. As she had been quite ill, she let us know that she made provisions in her will to care for Bandy for the rest of his life. Kat’s family, who has been estranged from her for years, are claiming no knowledge of this amended will and want to have Bandy executed as he is an inconvenience to their newly gained finances. This is an appalling request. We will not comply with it. Instead, we are doing everything we can to provide Bandy with the continuous care and best life he deserves. He is a wonderful, loving horse who has formed a strong bond with our herd, including Daisy, our rescue sheep, and with us. We are asking for donations to help cover the projected costs of the following five-plus years for vet, grain, hay, hoof trims, bedding, deworming, etc. Any help, in any amount, would be genuinely appreciated.
