Help Us Save Cats in Saskatchewan!
Donation protected
These funds are going directly to the start up costs of running a safe rescue including emergency funds, and meeting the basic needs of cats and kittens before beginning to bring animals into our foster homes. We are an Incorporated Non-Profit organization, and are patiently awaiting our charity number from CRA. If you would like to help in other ways, please email [email redacted]. Much Love and Thanks!
SOS Prairie Rescue was founded in January of 2019 by a few ladies with giant hearts. After years of working in rescue, it was very apparent that there was a significant need for a provincial rescue network. The idea is that a province wide rescue organization could work with existing rescues, SPCA's and animal protection to alleviate the growing pressure caused by stray and abandoned cats in Saskatchewan.
The goal of SOS Prairie Rescue is to protect healthy, treatable, and adoptable cats from euthanization, educating about feline care, and providing temporary, healthy foster homes for the cats and kittens until their forever homes are found.
SOS believes in working together with other shelters, pet owners and pet enthusiasts to provide the utmost care to the strays of Saskatchewan. We want to conduct our organization with respect for our peers and with purpose that meets the needs of the animals first.
