Please help us save Dawley Social Club

Dawley Social Club has been a community building since the turn of the last century and a social club since 1960’s

Our Running costs (like everyone else’s) have been soaring. To combat this, the committee and staff have been working hard to bring about a suitable outcome for the future. We have negotiated a stable, managed regime to allow us to restore the club to financial order going forward, but this now depends on us first solving an immediate financial crisis. We are now in the position where we need to raise £5,000 imminently to prevent our doors closing for good.

If you are able to help us overcome this massive hurdle, and save our club, you will not only be saving a valuable community asset, but also supporting the local clubs and societies that utilise its spaces within. Also, Importantly, we will avoid letting down the many people who have already secured their room bookings for personal events well into the next year and the Entertainers booked.

We desperately want to save this valuable safe space for the people of Dawley and their families, and achieve our end goal of an upbeat establishment for those young, old and in between, and continue to provide a variety of services, including supporting those less able on our community instead of leaving yet another building empty to rot. Please help us to do this.
