Help Us Attend the School Safety Expo to Prevent Abuse
Tax deductible
We are raising $2,000 to attend the School Safety Expo in Houston on October 17th, where we will educate, collaborate, and advocate for abuse prevention and human trafficking awareness. This is a key opportunity to share our life-saving virtual reality training and work alongside others focused on protecting vulnerable communities.
Why Your Support Matters:
Radical Empathy is on a mission to end abuse through education and awareness. We use virtual reality to create powerful, interactive training experiences that transform how people understand, recognize, and avoid abuse.
The Scope of the Problem:
Human trafficking is not just a local issue—it's a global crisis, valued at over $236 billion a year. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), forced labor and trafficking exploit millions of people worldwide, generating enormous profits at the expense of human lives. This is why education and awareness are critical in the fight to prevent trafficking and protect vulnerable communities.
The Impact of Attending the School Safety Expo… Attending the Houston event allows us to:
- Showcase our VR app, TRAPPED: A VR Detective Story, which is recognized by experts across multiple fields.
- Meet with subject matter experts to gather feedback on TRAPPED and other VR applications we are developing, including ones on sextortion, divorce, labor trafficking, and interfamilial trafficking.
- Attend seminars led by leaders in the fight against trafficking to gain insights that will enhance our tools for educating and protecting vulnerable communities.
Your support will allow us to not only spread life-saving knowledge but also gain new insights to improve our training tools for the future.
How You Can Help:
Your support—whether it’s $10, $50, or $500—will help us spread life-saving knowledge and improve our future training tools. Every donation brings us closer to attending these important events.
Want to make a lasting impact? Consider becoming a monthly donor on our website. Even a small recurring donation will help sustain our efforts to combat abuse long after the conferences.
