Help us save Mina

Hi everyone,

It has been quite the tumultuous couple years, for all of us for SO many reasons. This dog is my best friend, my little baby love, my alien looking chorkie Mina. She loves to sleep and hop around the house like a stealthy kitten, and could not be more like a cat. She keeps me company every single day. She has a sassy personality and is only 3 years old…

Suddenly, over the past 48 hours, my baby has gone from being completely fine and healthy to having what is clear is meningitis. In dogs, this is normally not bacterial. This is autoimmune. But it is TREATABLE. The only way we can diagnose her for sure and treat her appropriately is to have her undergo anesthesia and an MRI- along with a spinal tap. They’ve done the blood work and we’ve spent almost $2000 thus far, but this is the estimate for what is left to do at the ER. The vet is hopeful and so are we.

We already lost one dog, Odin, a few months ago. Without treatment and diagnosis, we will lose Mina too. We didn’t anticipate these costs and have a big oral surgery we needed in our household that payment is also due for. I have included the invoice in the comments for transparency.

If you can help, please help us keep her here. I cannot express how much this would mean to me. We slapped this on my credit card- but we all know how that works every month taking into account interest.
