Help us save more than 100 cats from dying

Dear friends and animal lovers,

Animal rescue is a never-ending story and whenever you think you have achieved quite a bit, more challenges arrive.

Many people know how much I love animals, especially cats, and how much I have helped over the last twenty years. With the help of other dedicated volunteers I could rehome several hundreds of cats and a few dogs and save many more from dying. I lived in the UAE for 12 years during which I saw cats being thrown out and left back by expats and more and more illegal breeders dump their cats when they couldn’t make money of them. There were too many challenges to talk about. However, a couple of years back, with only a few friends and volunteers helping, I managed to resolve another case with approximately 70 cats involved. Which means, together we can do it.

And NOW the time has come to ask for any help possible. I have been made aware of another case in the UAE, where more than 100 cats are involved and 2 dogs on top… The “owner” of these animals is no longer in a position to care for them and will most probably have to leave the country into an uncertain future. We cannot allow these cats to be abandoned and left to die. Nor is it feasible to rehome them quickly, especially since many of them need vaccinations and/or medical treatment. Therefore, we need to pay the rent of the house for a few more months and also compensate the person who is caring for their daily needs. Of course, we also need to cover the costs of food, cat litter, and all necessary treatments.
