Help us save Noah's life we do not have long

Young Noah, a member of the Chances for Children (www.C4C.mc) family in Uganda, is approaching his final year of school and is currently in critical condition in the hospital, in need of an urgent heart operation. He is suffering from Grade 2 Mitral Valve Regurgitation, the most common type of heart valve disease (valvular heart disease). This is when the valve between the two left chambers of the heart does not close completely, which causes blood to leak backward across the valve and not enough blood to travel throughout the body. The solution is a Mitral valve replacement, which means replacing the valve entirely.

At this moment, Noah is stabilizing and has been transferred to HDU (High Dependence Unit) for monitoring until his procedure can take place. Despite his tough situation, Noah has dreams of one day becoming a doctor and saving lives himself.

We need to raise funds urgently to support Noah in his operation and recovery, as the cost is expected to total 19K euros. Sadly, due to the number of children in the C4C family, it is not possible to afford medical insurance, and with private healthcare costs the same as in most developed countries, state healthcare is not an option either. We have all of the official paperwork from the hospital and a consultant's voice note explaining the problem in further detail, which we are willing to share.
