Help us save Ripley’s leg

My name is Sophie and I am fundraising for our beautiful cat, Ripley. Ripley is 4 years old, and if you know us you’ll know she is our absolute world. This week we were devastated to learn, following tests and X-rays, that she has broken her ankle and that it will not heal or get better.

We’ve been given the heartbreaking decision of removing her leg entirely (something which seems drastic given she is otherwise her usual self but limping) or paying for an operation that would allow her to keep her leg and carry on living a normal life.

Thankfully, Ripley is insured and we have been able to pay for everything she needs so far and will continue to do so. However, her insurance will not cover the entirety of her operation and aftercare (£6000+). Sadly, we have no choice but to reach out and see if anyone is willing to help us reach our goal and save Ripley’s leg.

We appreciate that cats and pets lose limbs all the time, and this is sometimes necessary - but in this case her leg can absolutely be saved, but unfortunately it just comes down to the cost to do so. We want to give Ripley the best chance possible and so would be extremely grateful for absolutely anything you see fit to donate to help in her recovery.
