Help Us Say Goodbye to Melissa

Hi everyone,

This is a really uncomfortable position for me to be in, and I’m not quite sure how to approach any of this. The world doesn’t prepare you to lose a parent, especially so soon and unexpectedly. I’m heartbroken and devastated that I’ve lost my mom, Melissa.

I remember her always tending to her garden and caring for our ever-growing cat collection, if you knew, you knew! One of the things I admire most was how she helped restore the monarch butterfly population, raising caterpillars every summer, sometimes with numbers over 300. She was even featured in a magazine for it! She was a registered nurse for over 30 years, and dedicated her life to helping others heal, and guiding families through their hardest moments while working in hospice care.

Now, I’m reaching out to ask for support in helping me cover the costs of her funeral and final arrangements. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much as I try to give her the peaceful goodbye she deserves.
