Help us say goodbye to our grandmother

Hello, my name is Erica and my family and I are seeking ANY help we can get for our grandmother.

A short summary about why we are asking for help,

A little over a month ago, our grandmother went into the emergency room for this excruciating back pain she was having. After running some tests and a few scans, it turned out he she had in fact split one of her lower vertebrae. As bad as the news was for her, unfortunately that was not the doctors only conclusion... After reviewing her MRI results, they also found multiple small growths located throughout her body. She was then diagnosed with stage 4 Bone Cancer....

It came to us all as a huge shock. Our grandmother has always been a healthy, energetic, happy go lucky kind of woman. A kind heart, a happy soul, and helping hands. Still running strong at the young age of 83. She was the most healthy person in our entire family! ☺️

After being admitted into the hospital, she had surgery done on her vertebrae. In hopes to ease the pain and get her up and walking again. After receiving the devastating news, she has no hopes or energy to even try to walk anymore. She has been bed ridden and in constant pain since then. Then just 2 weeks ago she was admitted into hospice

The reason we are asking for help is to help us pay for her hospice care and stay. Thanks to all the new regulations and rules they have for health insurance these days, her insurance will not pay for, nor help pay for her stay. This has caused overwhelming stress for our grandparents and the rest of our family. Of course, as a family, we are doing everything we can to help. But when they charge someone, who is living out there last days outside of the comfort of their own home, $600 PER DAY!! There is only so much we can do ourselves.

This devastating news fell upon us all very unexpectedly, and sadly with not much time left. We just want our grandmother to spend her last days at ease and comfortable. Not having to stress and worry constantly in fear. I see it in her eyes every time I go to visit her, and it saddens me so deeply. She has always worried about friends and family before herself. I just want to see my grandmother smile and be at peace before she leaves this world. A feeling of calmness and relief.

I ask of everyone, no matter how big or small, please help us with anything you can. Every single penny counts! So that our grandmother can calmly rest in peace during this time.
