Help us say thank you to the Walton centre.

Hi, we are currently doing a ‘Walk for Walton’ to show our appreciation to all of the surgeons, doctors and nurses who have saved James’ life.

James was admitted to the Walton centre for emergency brain surgery on the 15th of March, after becoming unresponsive at home due to meningitis of the brain. This happened suddenly and we were all so shocked but the immediate action by the Walton centre saved James’ life and we will be forever grateful for them. The surgeons weren’t sure if they were going to be able to save James and told us he had one foot in heaven and one foot on earth, but they did it. They saved him. They gave him the one chance he needed and now our children get their daddy back.

James has a long way to go but we are so grateful to get to walk this road of recovery with him.

We will be walking from our home in St. Helens to the Walton centre in Liverpool to raise money for the Walton centre on Sunday 24th April. This is 10 miles and will take us approximately 4 hours. Any donations are greatly appreciated and we hope that raising money and awareness will allow the Walton centre to continue to provide outstanding care to any future patients.
