Hello, my name is Paty, I live in the port of San Felipe. 14 years ago I started a non-profit here to help the disabled in the community. Our Facebook page is Volunteers Without Limits. I started the foundation because my daughter Lupita was born with severe Cerebral Palsy. There was no services for the disabled available, and I soon met other families that also needed help. We started giving food, diapers, medications, wheelchairs, canes, crutches etc.

6 years ago we added a women's rehabilitation center. We currently have 27 women. We also cook and deliver 250 meals each day to the elderly, sick, and disabled.

On December 24th 2022, my 27 year old son disappeared. There are currently 100+ men, women, and young adults missing from our community. We have found grave sites for very few. We currently have formed a new collective in the community to search for these missing people and get closure for the many families who are suffering and grieving from their loss. The name of our collective is Mi Madre Sigue con la Lucha Birzavit Roman.

We have many people helping in the search but we need help. We are attempting to raise funds to purchase a Jeep or RZR to reach remote locations in the desert to search for grave sites. We of course would accept a donation of a UTV, or similar, instead of having to beg for money.

We hate that our community is suffering, and we hate to have to go outside the community for help. Unfortunately we are a small fishing village and we don't have the funds.

If you can find it in your hearts to help, we would be extremely grateful. If you need references, I promise you we can provide many that will show that we are a legitimate group.

Hola, mi nombre es Paty, vivo en el puerto de San Felipe. Hace 14 años comencé aquí una organización sin fines de lucro para ayudar a los discapacitados de la comunidad. Nuestra página de Facebook es Voluntarios Sin Límites. Inicié la fundación porque mi hija Lupita nació con Parálisis Cerebral severa. No había servicios disponibles para discapacitados y pronto conocí a otras familias que también necesitaban ayuda. Empezamos a dar comida, pañales, medicamentos, sillas de ruedas, bastones, muletas, etc.

Hace 6 años sumamos un centro de rehabilitación para mujeres. Actualmente contamos con 27 mujeres. También cocinamos y entregamos 250 comidas cada día a personas mayores, enfermas y discapacitadas.

El 24 de diciembre de 2022 desapareció mi hijo de 27 años. Actualmente hay más de 100 hombres, mujeres y adultos jóvenes desaparecidos de nuestra comunidad. Hemos encontrado tumbas para muy pocos. Actualmente hemos formado un nuevo colectivo en la comunidad para buscar a estas personas desaparecidas y lograr un cierre para las muchas familias que sufren y lloran su pérdida. El nombre de nuestro colectivo es Mi Madre Sigue con la Lucha Birzavit Roman.

Tenemos mucha gente ayudando en la búsqueda pero necesitamos ayuda. Estamos intentando recaudar fondos para comprar un Jeep o RZR para llegar a lugares remotos en el desierto y buscar tumbas. Por supuesto, aceptaríamos una donación de un UTV o un similar en lugar de tener que pedir dinero.

Odiamos que nuestra comunidad esté sufriendo y odiamos tener que salir de la comunidad en busca de ayuda. Lamentablemente somos un pequeño pueblo de pescadores y no tenemos los fondos.
