Help us see our 68C Army Soldier graduate AIT
Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Justina, and I'm one of the many *Army Mom Strong!* ❤️
I've been putting off this idea, but our son graduates from his Army AIT in August this year, and I'm a very desperate mama! We've been trying to find any way possible to make it to his graduation from his LPN program (one of the longest AITs at 52 weeks!) on the East coast, but monthly bills have us drowning (like most folks these days). I know everyone is struggling to keep afloat; and it sometimes takes a village. Truly, anything helps at the moment. I've maxed out all but one credit card trying to keep up with bills, gas, and groceries, so plane tickets and hotel are so far out of reach. Medical problems have prevented my husband and I from gaining headway any which way the last year or so, and it's definitely been an uphill battle, but we're still fighting. We managed to get to our Soldier's BCT graduation last July (pictured), and we were so thankful we got to be there to support him with such a great first accomplishment in the Army! It was such a proud moment for all of us! Trying for Round 2 this time around before he's possibly overseas. It'll be me, my husband, and my mom (his grandmother), traveling to go see him, and watch him do the dang thing! Funds will be used for air fare. I'm working on getting a job lined up. Thank you so so so much for any consideration, and even for reading, and sending prayers and positive energy that we can make it there so he has family supporting him and cheering him on after such a brutal training program (silently, of course lol...you can't really openly cheer and stuff for your soldier, or your poor soldier gets met with lots of extra duties). God Bless!! ❤️
