**In Loving Memory of Heather Lynne**

On April 16th, 2024, our beloved Heather was tragically taken from us. Her body, cruelly discarded, was only found three days later. As her mother, I am devastated and heartbroken by the immense loss and the inhumanity she was subjected to. In Heather's memory, I am committed to seeking justice and ensuring that no other family endures this pain. We are raising funds to hire a private investigator to reopen her case and bring those responsible to justice. Additionally, we aim to change the law that allowed such a heinous act to result in only a minor misdemeanor.

Heather deserved dignity and respect in life and in death. The actions of those who took her from us denied us the chance to say our goodbyes properly, leaving us with only memories of a decomposed body instead of the vibrant, loving person we knew.
