Hi everyone, my name is Alex and I’ve been suffering with epilepsy for the last 9 years. It has definitely been a struggle learning how to live with it, but I’ve decided to let it be a positive aspect in my life. I’m using epilepsy to my advantage to help spread awareness about this disease. I have had teachers and work supervisors leave me while I was having a seizure which led to more medical incidents. With my two closest friends, Cora Rickman and Finley Bouchie, we want to change that! We are creating a project to spread awareness and make sure no more people go through that. We have plans of teaching teachers, kids, parents, etc. how to handle seizures in a calm way. We are also going to be writing a book on how to handle epilepsy and what really happens in a day to day life with epilepsy. Anything helps! Thank you!
