Help us support Bob Aguilar in his time of need.

We are coming together as a community to help a true friend in need. Bob was visiting his parents in California as well as preparing to play bagpipes at the Rose Bowl. While in California, Bob suffered a serious cardiac emergency resulting in a seven-hour surgery. Bob is a resident of Virginia and will be in California with his wife Lisa until he is healthy enough to travel home. This unexpected medical emergency and the cost associated with his family flying to California to be with Bob will put a great deal of financial strain on Bob and his family. Bob is a loving husband and father, has been a Police Officer for 17 years and a member of the SWAT team for 15 years. His work at the Police Department and on the SWAT team has made Bob a stranger to no one and a friend to everyone within the profession. There is nowhere Bob goes where he isn't hugging everyone, knows someone, or making new friends. Bob has taken up bagpipes and joined the Newport News Pipes and Drums band as well as the Tidewater Pipes and Drums band playing locally and nationally for events. Bob is known for his friendship, loyalty and absolutely never quit attitude by all of his friends and family, as well as being a friend who would give you the shirt of off his back. I am asking for the community to come together and show support and love for Bob and his family during this trying time. We don't know how long Bob will be in the hospital or in California, but it will certainly put a financial strain on their family.
