Help us support Jackie and her family

If you have spent any time at HEB Family Dentistry, chances are you have been lucky enough to meet Jackie Retana. Jackie has been cleaning teeth with Dr. Master and the team for over 15 years and has touched the lives, and teeth, of hundreds of Patients. Jackie is a bright light. She gives her very best to her patients every single day, feeds the stray cats around the building, and is a friend to every single one of her coworkers. At home Jackie is a dedicated Mom to her two beautiful children who are 10 and 5, a loving wife to husband Rigo, an animal lover, and a treasured daughter and sister. If you have ever been in her chair, you have absolutely heard about these wonderful people, and probably shared a laugh or saw a picture. It is for all of these reasons that we are rallying around Jackie's family to help provide some support while Jackie fights for her life. On Saturday Jackie suffered a stroke in her home while getting ready to go out for the evening with her family. Although paramedics were able to get to Jackie quickly, surgeons were unsuccessful at unclogging the blockage leaving the family with many more questions than answers. The most recent update from her family let us know that she was in surgery to alleviate some of the swelling on her brain. This tragedy has left her family devastated and her friends searching for ways to help. The money donated will go directly to Jackie's husband to help with the mounting medical and family expenses while they navigate this very long, difficult road.
