Help Us Support Our Brother Michael’s Healing Journey

Tomorrow is never guaranteed for anyone, as Mike recently learned in a horrific situation. This experience has taught him the importance of cherishing loved ones and not taking any second, minute, or day for granted.

Thanks to his incredible support system—his "Avengers," including his wife Dalet Mekonnen, who played a pivotal role in saving him—Mike now has a second chance at life, and he is determined to make the most of it.

Just a few weeks ago, Mike experienced a seizure that led to an emergency room visit. After undergoing a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered a tumor. Fortunately, once he was stable, they were able to remove the majority of it. However, Mike now faces the next phase of his journey, which includes chemotherapy and radiation, as well as functional holistic treatments that are not covered by insurance and will require out-of-pocket expenses.

Michael will be undergoing both traditional and integrative medical treatments in hopes of giving him the best possible chance at healing. Unfortunately, the costs of this journey are overwhelming. Between hospital visits, specialist care, medications, holistic therapies, and more, the financial burden is more than our family can manage alone.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease that burden so Michael can focus fully on recovery without the added stress of mounting bills.
