Help Us Support Our Dad After a Devastating Fire.
On Wednesday, January 8th, our father Kenneth Snowden tragically lost his house in the Eaton Fire. Somewhere we called home for over 20+ years, not just our house, but our neighborhood, memories and belongings built over a lifetime are gone and turned to ashes.
Earlier this year, our dad had finally completed a long-awaited renovation to make his house a place filled with new memories. Though the damage is severe, we are grateful that our father was able to evacuate in time and grab what he could. The fire took a heavy toll on him, and he lost pretty much everything he worked so hard for, including a 1987 Buick Grand National that has been in our family for three generations, passed down to him from our late grandfather, which holds a great deal of sentimental value in our family.
We never thought we would have to reach out for support like this of any kind, and we do not know where to begin to help our dad in this very difficult time, so we are reaching out to our community to help raise funds for any expenses he needs covered and to help him get back on his feet. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact, and your support will provide the strength and courage to start new.
We appreciate your kindness and generosity as we come together to help our dad heal from this tragedy, and our hearts and prayers are with everyone in our community who suffered a loss from this tragic event.
