Tragedy Hits Devastation Dance Company

Donation protected

Fusion Dance Studio recently learned that on June 16th, a car drove through Devastation Dance Company located on Bailey Avenue. Thankfully, the studio was closed at the time of the accident and there were no injuries. However, their dance studio was not as fortunate. The front facade of the studio was destroyed and it is still uncertain how extensive the structural damage to the building is.

Due to not being able to enter the studio, the students have begun practicing outside at Delaware Park and their story was featured on the news.  A member of our Fusion Family happened to be watching and she reached out to see what we could do to help a member of our dance community.

We would like to start a GoFundMe to help the director, Ms. Tamee Ebo, raise funds to help her and her dancers rebuild their studio.  Ms. Tamee and Devastation Dance Company have an outstanding reputation for giving back and helping others.  Ms. Tamee’s goal is that no child shall suffer or be without the ability to live their dreams.  It is because of this that she provides dance scholarships to two students per class each season.

Fusion Dance Studio is a family. We are here for each other through good times and bad.  We would like to extend this kindheartedness to another dance studio in our community who could use our help to rebuild their studio, which is like a second home to their teachers and dancers. Please consider making a donation to help these dancers get back in the studio to do what they love!
