Help us Support Our Little Miracle

Hello, I am Frankie’s Mom. My name is Leslie. We started this GoFundMe in hopes of support for our Son. My soon to be 2 year old who was born a whole 3 months before his due date. Frankie was born 25 weeks and 6 days old weighed only 1 Pound and 12 Ounces with a lot of trouble breathing on his own. He was diagnosed with Chronic Respiratory Failure with Severe Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD), meaning his lungs did not fully developed and needed a lot of support. My little boy was Intubated for the first 5 to almost 6 months of his life, he finally got his Tracheostomy placed then 2 weeks after got his G-Tube placed. He’s had a lot of ups and downs. He has suffered a total now of 8 cardiac arrests from last year in August until now. By God he’s come back every time with no issues, because of these events he has a central line placed. The central line is more for emergency access to prevent constant poking because even though he’s a big boy now his veins are still super fragile. His line was not functioning properly so he recently had a surgery to get the line replaced which was unsuccessful. He received surgery again the next day and doctors were able to place a port instead. His most recent cardiac arrests of 2024 have been on 1/11, 4/19,5/3, and 5/4. He is ventilator dependent still on really high settings. These funds would be to help us for hopefully out of county/state transportation to a hospital that will help him get home and get him to a better place with his lungs just beginning of this month May 3rd we got horrible news that his left lung collapsed. Doctors placed a chest tube to get all the air and stabilize his lung. Now we really are at a point that he just needs higher level care and hopefully we can receive that when he’s more stable to be transferred. We are hopeful that other hospitals/facilities would be able to take in Frankie We hope and pray that he can recover from this huge set back after having almost 3 consecutive months of stability. Donations will also be going to accommodations, gas/transportation for ourselves in order to be by our babys side. In the future the money raised will be for medical supplies, oxygen equipment/respiratory /rehabilitation devices that he may need, home modifications/equipment that may needed as well. Anything that insurance doesn’t cover will be coming out of this funding. There are other hospitals that can hopefully help us get him back to where we were. We just are really praying he makes it though this really big setback and recovers completely from his left lung. August 21st he will be 2 years old adding another year that he has never been home. We want to bring our baby boy home, we want both our boys to be together, we want our family together. Thank you so much for any and all your support.
