Rayhan Miah's family would like the Phoenix community to make any donations to Phoenix Sylhet in his memory.
Rayhan sadly died on June 11th 2022. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rayhan's family.

Phoenix School Sylhet opened in September 2019 for children aged 3 - 11, with Autism and communication difficulties. The school provides a structured curriculum to support the development of pupils’ self-help skills, communication and emotional well-being. Pupils are engaged in learning through a variety of activities encouraging active exploration, learning through play, movement and sensory activities, which develop a range of skills. The school has been a great success, with children settled and making great academic and personal progress! Phoenix School Sylhet is supported by The Phoenix School Autism Charitable Trust (UK) and APASEN. However, ongoing fundraising is always needed for the basic needs of the school as well as specialist projects.

More recently, heavy monsoon downpours have led to devastating effects in Sylhet, where the school is based. Many of the homes of the families who attend and work at Phoenix School Sylhet have been affected.

This is a really challenging time for all those affected, and we would like to do our bit to help. We are looking to raise money to help Phoenix School Sylhet in any way we can.
