Hey there, everyone. I typically don’t like to ask for favors like this, but before you lend help, hear me out.
Tammy Slade is my grandmother. She is a kind, warm, loving, and beautiful person who has always given her best throughout life. She has been through many hardships, including the death of her one and only son. She has developed breast cancer twice, and as such, is in a fragile state.
Tammy is currently covered by Medicare insurance. However, her insurance does not cover 20% of the cost of the surgery that she needs to remove her implants and the cost of her cancer screenings (PET scan) and the longer she goes without, the more ill she may become.
As a result of undergoing chemotherapy, her immune system is extremely compromised, and she cannot go out into public or anything like she used to.
Both of my grandparents are retired and are on a fixed income and with medical bills likely to only increase in the future, they need some help.
