Update:
Dear friends and family, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time. Losing our beloved Jen has been incredibly hard, but your support has been a bright spot in the darkness. Your donations have helped to alleviate some of the financial burden for the family. It served as a reminder of how much Jen was loved and valued by so many. Thank you again for your unwavering support and love. We will never forget your kindness and generosity, and we will carry the memory of our beloved Jen in our hearts forever. On 06/06/23, our angel was called home.
Jen Englert, a mom to Hunter & TJ, a devoted wife to Tom, a daughter to Bryan and Barb, a loving sister, the “fun” aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a friend to so very many, has recently suffered a major heart attack resulting in many complications. She is currently being cared for in the critical care cardiac unit. The outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and co-workers alike has been unimaginable and the revolving doors to her hospital room have not stopped.
As a teacher, Jen spent many years in the classroom both in Springfield and Chicopee, where she touched the hearts and minds of countless young students. As a counselor, her ability to reach both students and staff is something that only a few individuals are capable of. On any given day, Jen could be found in her office with a staff member in need of advice, support or just friendship.
To say that Jen has made an impact on the lives of many is an understatement. Our days do not feel the same without her smile, quick wit and contagious laugh! Throughout her many years in education, Jen has built strong relationships with students, staff, and parents who relied on her for both support and guidance. In order to defray the impending medical bills we are asking for any help that you can give.
From all of her friends and loved ones.
