Help Us Support the Gudino Family

Our hearts are broken to share the devastating news that we lost Chris Gudino on December 18, 2024. Just a few days ago, Chris wasn’t feeling well and went to the ER. Doctors discovered an autoimmune disorder that suddenly became active, and things spiraled so quickly. Chris fought with everything he had, but we tragically lost him yesterday morning.

We’re all still in shock. Chris was only 41, healthy his whole life, and the glue that held so much together. I’m writing this as Lisa’s cousin—Lisa is Chris’s wife. If you knew Chris, you know how much he loved his family. They were his whole world.

Chris and Lisa were married for 17 amazing years. They have two kids, Nate (16) and Addy (12), who were the lights of Chris’s life. He never missed a single football game, cheerleading event, or big moment in their lives—and if you were friends with him on Facebook, you probably saw all the proud dad posts. Nate’s success in football brought Chris so much joy, and he loved helping him train and watching him grow. Addy, his "Goose," was his sweet girl, and he absolutely lit up at all her cheer events. Chris didn’t just show up for his family—he lived for them.

For the past 15 years, Chris worked at Bidadoo, starting as a Yard Rep and working his way up to National Director of Safety. He loved his job, but more than that, he loved the people he worked with—they became like a second family to him.

At home, Chris was the guy who made everything run smoothly. With Lisa working full-time and pursuing her degree, Chris stepped up in every way—making dinner, driving the kids to practice, filling in all the gaps. He truly embodied “family first” in every part of his life.

And Chris loved a good celebration. He went all-out for holidays—covering the house in Christmas lights, building a haunted house for Halloween, hosting over-the-top fireworks for the 4th of July. He just loved making things special for the people he cared about.

Chris was the person who always showed up. Need help moving? Chris was there. A tree fell in your yard? He’d show up with tools. Family emergency? Chris wasn’t just there—he was the one organizing everything and making sure you were okay. He never asked for anything in return.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for Chris and his family. Lisa, Nate, and Addy are navigating the unimaginable loss of their husband and dad, and there’s a lot to figure out. Chris handled all the finances, and without him, they’re going to need support to get through this tough time.

We’re asking for donations to help Lisa and the kids with immediate expenses and give them some breathing room to focus on healing. Chris would’ve wanted nothing more than to make sure his family is taken care of, and this is one way we can honor the amazing man he was.

If you can give, please do. If you can’t, please share this and keep Lisa, Nate, and Addy in your prayers.

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Lisa and her family, and 100% of the funds will go directly to them. Thank you for your support—it means everything.

Chris loved his family and friends fiercely, and we’re all better for having known him. Let’s rally together and be there for the family he loved so much.
