Help us survive Covid-19

My name is Kul Nin. I am proud to represent the Sacred Dancers of Angkor troupe, which has revived the spiritual dimension of Cambodia’s traditional dance that was almost destroyed under the Khmer Rouge.  After 13 years of hard training and discipline, we are finally living the dream as performing artists, thanks to the NKFC Foundation school of dance and music for countryside kids like me.

I fear for our troupe's future. Our livelihoods depend on tourism and we have no social support structure here. Before the Coviv-19 pandemic, we had just managed to lead sustainable lives by performing twice weekly at our Divine Sala theatre and offering authentic cultural experiences to visitors of the Angkor temples. Despite easing of restrictions, we still have no visitors.
