Help us to build the seminary!
The Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary was founded in 2012.
This institution is an undertaking of the Archdiocese of Armagh to form priests for the New Evangelization who are both diocesan and missionary.
When the seminarians are ordained, they will be incardinated into the Archdiocese of Armagh. So far, four priests and a deacon have been ordained and are serving in the Archdiocese of Armagh.
They will also be available, at the discretion of the Archbishop of Armagh, to serve as missionaries, both in other parts of Ireland and internationally.
Vocations to this seminary continue to increase year on year; for this reason, the expansion of the seminary (phase 2 of the development plan) has now become a necessity.
An important part of the project is to have a new oratory and some new bedrooms for the seminarians.
Could you help to support this part of the project?
The approximate cost will be €500,000.00.
The seminarians and formators pray daily for all the benefactors who are helping them in their formation. Be one of them!
Works started 1 June 2022.
