Help us to escape the genocidal war on Gaza

Hi , my name is Adam al-Jamal, I’m a palestinian who lives in Gaza City with my family of six, life was going on quietly and peacefully, and we had ambitions and dreams, as my parents were struggling to achieve the dreams and ambitions of me and my siblings , Although my father majed al jamal suffers from chronic heart disease, he is retired from work, and my mother samah aljamal spent her life growing us up and taking care of us ,we hoped that each of us would start to build his future.

I had finished high school with honors and got a GPA of 96% and I couldn’t wait to continue my education journey by going to a university, hoping to be able to study abroad.

My older sister Yara started her career as a laboratory specialist, my brother Ghassan works as a graphic designer,and my younger sister Zeina is a middle school student.

We were satisfied with every step we took towards each other's future.

Suddenly, with the beginning of the devastating war on Gaza, everything turned upside down ,and we couldn’t understand what was going on, events accelerated, shelling everywhere, murder, genocide, destruction of all universities, schools and facilities, and here our life suddenly stopped completely.

I couldn't go to university or travel abroad to continue my education.

Both my sister and brother lost their jobs ,and my younger sister was forced to quit her studies.

We were forced to flee under heavy shelling, where danger and terror surrounded us, scenes of murder and tragic deaths are everywhere.

We left without carrying any of our luggage or basic needed things.

We went to Deir el-Balah and stayed in shelter schools for a month and a half, where we suffered the most, our privacy was violated, we were forced to live with large numbers of crowded people.

As the danger increased, schools were being bombed ,

So We moved again to the city of Rafah.

Simple words can’t describe how great was the suffering during the displacement, from one place to another .Every day, every hour and every minute we suffer from an inanimate and inhumane life, we live an unusual life for any person.

We are having difficulty getting water,we can barely get food ,and we are unable to provide medicine to my father who’s a heart patient who was planning to travel for surgery, we feel constant anxiety and terrible fear ,because the bombing does not stop and danger surrounds us from everywhere.

We feel humiliated and forgotten because of this life that we were forced to live.

Currently, we live in fear and anxiety of the invasion of Rafah, we no longer have a safe place to go.

As the war enters its sixth month, with no hope of it coming to an end, this long period has caused deep psychological traumas inside each of us, we cannot sleep well, the night is a source of horror for us, and the day is anxious as we go out to get our basic needs.

And over-thinking, Why is all this happening to us.

Will our lives and dreams remain suspended?

When will the war end? I see the fear in the eyes of my father, mother and siblings and their grief for what happened to us.

Don't we deserve to live with dignity and safety?

I want our life to return to its former self, I want to go to university and rebuild my

dreams, we want to resume our education and business.

We want to sleep without anxiety and disturbing nightmares, we don't want to wake up to the sound of explosions.

We want to have access to healthy and adequate food and to clean water .

How will our souls be restored, how will our wounds be healed and what is left of life for us.My family and I have no choice but to travel outside the Strip, because life has become non-existent and impossible inside of it.

There are no schools, no universities, no hospitals, no infrastructure.

Note that travel is expensive and we do not have the financial capacity for it, and with the scarcity of foodstuffs, the cost has become prohibitive, which has led to our financial and psychological exhaustion.

We wish you to help us save what is left of our lives and save us from this deadly war, we desperately need your generosity to donate to us to achieve the goal we are strivizng for.
