Project Expansion – Freedom of Spirit Trust for Border Collies

Thank you so much to everyone for your donations. Only £250,000 left to go until we realise our dream. 

Exciting times ahead as we are very near to realising our dream of expanding the FOSTBC.

Everyone has a dream and our first dream came true when we originally set up the rescue. But we did not stop dreaming and always hoped that one day we could have the ability to save more dogs, to provide specialised training for dogs and owners and to provide boarding kennel facilities. We have a lot more planned including a peace garden and a communal meeting room and we will keep everyone updated as we progress.

There is a property coming on the market in July 2022 that we want to make an offer on  but we need your help to raise the money that we need.

We have been planning this for a long time and are now ready for the next step and are working hard to raise the final £521,000 needed to purchase a property.

More information about The Freedom of Spirit Trust for Border Collies: the Freedom of Spirit Trust is a small rescue based on a farm in West Yorkshire and run by Barbara Sykes. We rescue and rehabilitate Border Collies and place them into well matched loving homes. We do not refuse any dog on the grounds of age or ill health and we seek to give them the best possible care.
