Help us to Highlight HOPE for Altadena and Pasadena

Hi, my name is Frank and we opened our Highlight Coffee location here in Altadena/Pasadena in October 2019. Great timing, right? It actually was. Through those trying years, we developed an amazing community that we love and cherish.

You all likely know what happened to our community. It's unreal, unimaginable, beyond tragic, and sad beyond belief.

Through all that...we have HOPE. Hope that we will be a community again. Hope that we will build back our neighborhood. Hope that we will continue to help our neighbors. Hope that I can bring my young baby boy into his coffee shop to have his cup of milk and give high fives to you all again. Hope to feel at home again.

We need your help. Our friends, neighbors, family, and lovely customers have lost their homes and sadly many have lost their hope.

We want to help by doing what we do best. Provide a space and drinks (free for anyone that can use one) that can hopefully give people that slight glimmer that we will get through this tough time together.

We will be changing from Highlight Coffee to Highlight HOPE.

To achieve this, we need to keep our staff working and operations running during this trying time where we are struggling to survive as a business. Our shop has been closed for the last week and we still don't have gas service and our street is blocked. As soon as we're able, we will start.
