Award winning theatre company, Aisling Ghéar, founded in 1997, are currently faced with closure. Due to massive cuts to arts funding in Northern Ireland we have lost our core funding. Described by The Oxford Handbook of Modern Irish Theatre thus, ‘Aisling Ghéar represents the most sustained, innovative and progressive theatrical experiment in recent decades’, we are determined that this company will survive and thrive, with a little help from our friends.
