Restore The Lives of Fellow Palestinians to Peace

In the midst of war, destruction, and relentless bombings, my friend Khader and his wife Amal find themselves in the southern region of the Gaza Strip, near the Egyptian border. The horrors of war have displaced them multiple times, leaving their once-beloved home in ruins, shattered by artillery shelling. Their dreams of a beautiful home and family now seem like distant memories, as the ongoing conflict has taken everything from them.

Their apartment bore the brunt of the violence, subjected to artillery shelling that destroyed one of the rooms so extensively that its floor was obliterated. A shell hit the bedroom, causing severe damage not only to it but also to the living room.

On top of this devastation, Khader and Amal almost lost their savings during the war period. They were supporting and helping their family members who lost their source of income and money, amidst the extremely high prices and crazed inflation.

Khader, despite being talented, did not complete his bachelor’s degree due to the war. He was a very skilled developer and started his career during his graduation year. However, to fulfil his dream of completing his education, he needs $10,000.

The absence of drinking water, food, and proper shelter has become their daily struggle. Schools, once places of learning, are now their only refuge, albeit an unsafe one. They have lost their source of livelihood and find themselves relying on aid for survival.

Every day, they venture out in search of basic necessities, only to face exorbitant prices, five to six times higher than normal. The scarcity of essential items, including sleeping pads and blankets, has made the harsh winter even more unbearable.

They have forgotten the warmth of a home, as the war has taken away the walls that once protected them from the rain. Their greatest desire now is to lead a peaceful life, free from the constant threat of conflict.

They implore you to join them in their quest for safety and a chance at rebuilding their lives. Your support is urgently needed to help them evacuate from the Gaza Strip until the war subsides. They fear for their lives and livelihoods, and with your assistance, they hope to escape the devastating impacts of this brutal conflict.

The funds raised through this campaign will directly support the evacuation of Khader and Amal from the perils of the Gaza Strip, as well as Khader's education. Additionally, the last $10,000 will be used for the cost of travel and renting an apartment, as the annual cost of renting an apartment is $3,600 in addition to the cost of living in Egypt for an entire year.

We now aim to raise $30,000, with $10,000 for their evacuation a calculated figure based on the $5,000 required to evacuate each individual and $10,000 allocated for Khader's education, and $10,000 for renting an apartment and living expenses in Egypt.
