Help us try to extend Tianna’s life

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, Tianna Moquette Dagher has been living with breast cancer since 2010. She was diagnosed at age 31, after the birth of her first baby, Mila. At the time, she underwent a double mastectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and in 2017 had a full preventative hysterectomy. Tragically, in 2019 Tianna’s cancer metastasized to her bones and lungs, and is now incurable.

She has since endured 5 treatment lines of intense toxicity, several rounds of palliative radiotherapy and countless PET CT & MRI scans -- all of which have induced debilitating side effects. She is currently on a daily dose of morphine and other medications to manage the excruciating chronic pain caused by metastases throughout her body.

Despite living with terminal cancer for the last 5 years, Tianna has managed to co-found a remarkable charity providing therapeutic art programmes to hospitals across the UK; devoted herself to her loving husband Fadi and two beautiful young children Mila and Julian; and is an endlessly loyal and caring daughter, sister and friend.

In October 2023, Tianna embarked on a clinical trial to buy her a few extra months, which takes her to the end of her conventional treatment options. She has reached a stage of exhaustion and crushing pain and the only way to meaningfully extend her life is for her to undergo immunotherapy. Unfortunately, the cutting-edge treatments Tianna would require are not available on the NHS, and are extremely cost prohibitive.

We are urgently exploring these novel treatments both in the U.K. and abroad. This fundraiser will make access to these treatments possible for Tianna - help her live longer, and in as much comfort, as possible. Any donation, large or small, would make a huge difference to keep Tianna’s light shining. A portion of the funds raised would also be allocated towards therapies to improve her quality of life.

We are a group of friends who are fortunate enough to have known Tianna since childhood, and love her dearly. The magnitude of what she is facing never clouds her concern or support for others. For her to have more precious time with her young family is everything.
