Help us with life costs

Hey y’all,

What a rollercoaster life can be. Driving home Tuesday our car took a turn for the worst. We were lucky enough to make it to a mechanic but the quote hit us in our guts. The radiator blew, we will need a slew of repairs, and to top it off, those may only be scratching the surface. Given high living costs, everyday debt, and incredibly high student loan payments (Elle’s did not get fully stop during the national pause—yay), we are really stuck. The repair estimates are higher than the car is worth and we have $8000 to pay off before we own it outright and can sell it for parts.

All of this of course comes at that time when life hits you at your lowest and we have to pause other big life events like a wedding or buying a house and starting a family.

We are still extremely lucky to be alive, healthy, have a roof over us, and be in the company of those that love and support us. This one hit us hard and we are at a loss as how else to move forward. We also acknowledge that everyone is struggling so if you are not at a place to help—this is not an ask from you. Save that dough! However, if you are able to help, in any way, we would truly appreciate it.
