Help USAF Veteran Greg Fender
Donation protected
On January 2nd, my beloved brother-in-law Greg Fender fell 11ft from the second floor of the barn he is constructing on his own and landed on a concrete floor. Greg was immediately airlifted by helicopter to the trauma center an hour away from his home.
Greg...a USAF Veteran and retired instructor of Social Studies and History at McDowell High School (where he also coached the women's golf team)...sustained injuries including 5 fractures of his spine, 2 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a bruised lung, severe bruising with skin abrasions; it is a developing, complicated, and serious situation.
Greg's recovery is anticipated to be a lengthy one and despite the expert care from his loving and capable wife Renee, as well as some assistance from the V.A., additional assistance with home care and other expenses will be needed.
This is why I am coming to you today with a request for help for this remarkable man and his wife. Your donation will be applied towards providing Greg with the care that he will urgently need, and will thus ease the burden on him and wife Renee.
I’m asking my friends and family, and friends of your family to share this on your social media account to assist in filling in the void.
Please consider giving your cup of coffee or lunch for just one day to assist with the care that my sister and the VA are unable to provide. If this is something you can’t do, please continue to lift Greg up in prayer for remarkable healing and prayers for Renee for continued emotional and physical strength.
Let’s wrap them with love.
Many thanks in advance.
