Help Valencia from UK

My name is Laura, and I’ve been living in Oxford, UK, for the last six years. I’m originally from Alicante, close to Valencia. Thankfully, my friends and family are safe, but unfortunately, many others in Valencia haven’t been as lucky.

As you may know, recent floods have devastated parts of Valencia, taking many lives and leaving many without homes or essentials. The response from local communities has been strong, but more help is urgently needed. I’m reaching out to ask for any support you can give-every donation, no matter the amount, it will be donated to the Red Cross.

In addition to raising funds here, I’m organizing a fundraising event soon at our bar, The Oxford Wine Cellar, it will take place on Sunday 1st of December, from 5pm to 9pm. The auction will be taking in our dowstairs area. People is generously donating art, personal items, or anything that has some value. The way of paying will be directly through here. I’ll keep you all posted.

In the meantime, please consider donating. Together, we can support the people of Valencia in rebuilding their lives. When the government’s response isn’t enough, we step in- people helping people.
