Help Valeria and Her Family Battle Cancer

Hi Everyone,

My name is Christian, and I have been privileged over the last few months to meet the most amazing little girl. Her name is Valeria, and she has the ability to turn the hardest frown into the biggest smile, as you can see with me.

I have grown close to her mom, Trista, and dad, Francisco, beginning with her birthday when our local law enforcement, emergency, and essential workers had a parade to celebrate her 1st birthday. Needless to say, it turned out to be amazing, and I was blessed to spend time with her and her family. Her story broke me down because Valeria is fighting Stage 4 Neuroblastoma as well as diabetes brought on by her treatment. Valeria's fight is more than any child or person should endure. I am the type to turn off sad commercials or avoid social media stories about suffering children because it breaks my heart, but there was something about her smile that I couldn't leave alone. I am fortunate to know her and her mommy and daddy and am blessed to have spent time with them at their home as well as mine. Valeria has filled a hole in my life that had been void for a long time, and I'm thankful for her.

It goes without saying that the financial burden this fight has on her entire family is great. Mommy is unable to work, and daddy must work all the time to make up for it, so he doesn't get to spend the time he should with them. I've created this GoFundMe to help them cover bills, unexpected and expected costs for medical, transportation, and overall needs to fight this uphill battle.
